Coming up against lower division opposition was always going to be a potential banana skin. We didnt have to be concerned after starting very well with some great passing and moving, creating several chances. The opposition, couldnt live with our midfield and foward line, with Hughsey doing what he does best and using his pace to open the scoring early, folowed by another and helped by goals from Ryan and a rare goal from Ben, before completing a first half hatrick - the half's only blemish being a small loss of concentration at the back resulting in a reply - but 5-1 at half time was very comfortable.
We mixed it up a little at half time and 2 further goals from Jack Ing. and a well taken finish from Jasper, who played well on the right, wrapped up the scoring. The oppositon highlight being a well taken goal from the right hand side, lobbing our helpless keeper. But 8-2 was the right result to take us into a possible tie against Writtle.
