BFC runs a Saturday morning Soccer School for Reception and Year 1 school age children. This starts at 9.30am until 11am, the emphasis being on teaching basic football skills and technique so they are ready to commence non-competitive football matches at Under 7's (Year 2s). This is open to boys and girls. The school is run by Trevor Miller, previously one of Broomfield's most successful club managers. Most of the junior team players at the club are a product of the school. There is a nominal fee payable in the clubhouse before training commences but no need to book - just turn up !
