Broomfield Football Club was established in 1905 and runs teams for all ages.  Our aim is to provide a structured Football Club that offers all players steady development as they progress through the age groups.

Broomfield FC is very proud to be a FA Charter Standard Club, an award held since September 2010.   In 2011 and 2013 the Club was also awarded the Essex FA Charter Standard Club of the Year, a fantastic achievement by all concerned, and one of which we are very proud.

For the 2021/22 season we have 6 Senior teams including Ladies, two Vets teams, plus 26 other youth teams including 6 girls teams.  There is also an extremely popular soccer school on Saturday mornings for reception and year one boys. We are also a Weetabix Wildcats Centre for girls football (ages 5-11). The Wildcats also train on Sat mornings.

All our teams benefit from at least one FA qualified coach. The football philosophy for the youth teams is to encourage skill development and technique – not to win at all costs. We want to develop well rounded footballers who love the game – not turn children away from football as the pressure & demands become too much for them.
